AKSAM-Alimoğlu Culture, Art and Research Center

Çeşmeli Konak, headquarter of the company, is the first private museum in the city of Afyonkarahisar. The mansion is one of the civil architectural examples from the late Ottoman period. Kahvecioğlu Ismael Efendi, a silk and fabric tradesman, first built the fountain for charity purpose and then built the mansion part. Completed in 1906 and originally built as a single residence, the building was split into two parts by its heirs and used as it is for long years. In 2002, it was expropriated and allocated to the Ministry of Culture. .

In the headquarter with Mr. İbrahim ALİMOĞLU acting as Chairman, a variety of training, cultural and art events are organized to make contribution to the cultural and art life in the city of Afyonkarahisar.
